The Power of PEMF

The EMbed Drift's signature technology is commonly known as Pulsed Electromagnetic Field (PEMF) therapy. PEMF gently permeates your pet's soft tissue and works at the cellular level to help reduce pain and swelling while increasing blood flow.

The EMbed Drift is a noninvasive solution for pain management, whether it is for acute injury, post-operative recovery or chronic (arthritic) pain. The EMbed device is rechargeable and easy to use. Simply press the power button to start your pet's 2-hour therapy session. The depth of treatment is 2-4 inches in all directions from the center of the EMpower device. Keeping in mind that pets are far more sensitive than humans, we've designed our EM technology to be subsensory, meaning your pet won't feel a thing. Unlike TENS, our EM technology does not emit any vibration, tingling sensations, or noise.

Components

  • 1 EMbed Drift Pet Bed
With 2 Performance Foam pads and 2 layers of additional padding, the bed provides your pet with a cozy place to relax even when the therapy's not running. The silky soft, water-resistant microvelvet cover is surprisingly durable, standing up to all the scratching and adjusting that your pet needs to feel fully comfortable.
  • EMpower Device(s)
The small Drift Bed comes with 1 EMpower device, while the large Drift Bed comes with 2 EMpower devices. These devices produce the PEMF that will help relieve your pet's pain and speed their healing. They fit comfortably inside the Drift bed, where the included device caps and hook and loop closures ensure the device stays put as your pet shift, settles, and relaxes. Each device also comes with a mini-USB compatible AC charger for convenient charging between therapies.

Common Conditions that benefit from PEMF Therapy

  • Hip, back, shoulder, and joint pain
  • Pain associated with hip dysplasia
  • Post-surgical pain management and recovery
  • Pain relief for conditions where the dog is not a surgical candidate
  • Osteoarthritis (OA) pain
  • Intervertebral Disc Disease (IVDD) symptoms and pain
  • Aches and pains resulting from overexertion, strains, and sprains

Benefits of the EMbed Drift Pet Bed

  • Reduces pain without side effects or dependency on NSAIDs
  • Provides therapy while your pet is in a comfortable resting position
  • Does not require that anything be strapped or attached to your pet, letting them relax for the therapy without uncomfortable harnesses
  • Uses subsensory PEMF treatments that won't startle or disturb your pet
  • Helps speed recovery and a return to normal activity
  • Particularly useful for older pets as it does not require them to stand for the duration of the therapy

PEMF has been clinically proven to:

  • Increase anti-inflammatory response
  • Increase circulation
  • Reduce swelling
  • Relieve pain, including pain following surgery
  • Increase blood and lymph flow
  • Provide temporary relief from the symptoms that accompany dysplasia occurring in the hip, spine, or shoulder regions

  • Easy, single-button operation
  • EMbed devices automatically power off when therapy is complete

Human Tested, Dog Approved.

  • Our innovative induction coil generates a pulsed electromagnetic field (PEMF) that improves intracellular function through energy induction.
  • Clinically proven in the human space, EM/PEMF therapy works at the cellular level, accelerating the binding of Calcium (Ca2+) and Calmodium (CaM) in the body. This new compound is then coupled with an enzyme called endothelial nitric oxide synthase to trigger the production of Nitric Oxide (NO).
  • Nitric Oxide is an important cellular signaling molecule involved in many physiological and pathological processes. It reduces COX-2, an enzyme that promotes inflammation and pain.
  • Lymph and blood flow are increased, leading to faster healing along with reduced pain and inflammation.
Use & Care

Use

  • For optimal results, we recommend completing one two-hour treatment every day for at least two weeks. Consult your veterinarian to determine if your pet's individual treatment plan will differ.
  • While it is most common to see improvements after two weeks, some pet owners may see results right away. You may notice improvements in mood, activity, behavior, and ease of movement.
  • After seeing improvement, we recommend using the EMbed Drift on an as-needed basis.

Care

EMpower Device

  • Use an isopropyl-DAMP cloth to wipe the EMpower device and caps clean.
  • Allow the EMpower device to dry thoroughly before reuse.
  • If signs of wear and tear appear on the EMpower device, discontinue use and contact us at care@aocpet.com.
  • To ensure battery does not die prematurely, charge device every 3 months.

Bed Cover & Inner Liner

  • Both the liner and microvelvet cover are machine washable. Wash on cold and gentle cycle.
  • Tumble dry on low. DO NOT iron.

Foam & Batting Pads

  • Spot clean with a damp cloth.
  • DO NOT submerge pads in water.

FAQs

FAQs

I don't feel anything when the device is on. Is it working?

Absolutely! Our technology should not be confused with the "jolts" from a transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation (TENS) unit. Unlike TENS, our PEMF technology delivers subsensory pulses, meaning neither you nor your pet should feel it working.

The only thing your pet will feel is relief!

How long should my pet use the EMbed device?

We recommend completing one two-hour treatment every day for two weeks. However, we also encourage you to consult with your veterinarian to determine if your pet's treatment plan varies.
