Casting Kit Accessories


Details

Casting Kits are used to create casts for Custom Braces and Custom Prosthetics. 

The materials required to make a cast of your pet's limb will depend on the limb being casted and your pet's weight. To ensure that you order the correct materials for your pet, please contact us at care@aocpet.com or (651) 440-9321.

Each Kit Will typically Include:

  • A stockinette
  • A cut strip
  • Casting tape
  • Gloves
  • A Klever Kutter - Cutting Tool

Was originally told my dog partially tore her CCL, vet recommended this company. Although I didn’t get to use it before my dog needed surgery, this company was so wonderful to work with and gave me a refund. There were responsive and so helpful. Cast mold Was easy to do. Wish it could have worked out for my fur baby but nonetheless this company is awesome!!

Casting kit

The casting kit arrived soon after i placed the order, i then watched the short “how to”casting video, and proceeded from there.
Definitely not easy with a hairy rear leg, even with the stocking net, the cast was not accepted. Back to square one. Two sets of hands for large breed recommended, even for the very well behaved pup!

Sorry to hear your first casting didn't go well. Our furry friends can have a lot of hair! Sometimes it can help to get a second stockinette to keep the hair down. We recommend 3-4 people total for casting and the dog can be laying down or standing. Before you cast again, you can practice with an ace bandage and try both laying down and standing to see which one your dog may be most cooperative doing.
